Acceptable Use Policy

This policy applies to everyone who uses the Docket service or website operated by Cyberdune Technologies Private Limited, including the free preview. It forms part of the terms of service. Customers are responsible for making sure their team follows it.

Do not use Docket to create, publish or distribute content that:

• is unlawful, or promotes or facilitates illegal activity;
• impersonates a person, business, publication or public body, or falsely suggests an endorsement or affiliation;
• contains invented reviews, testimonials, ratings, case studies, awards, credentials, statistics or customer counts;
• is defamatory, or makes false statements of fact about a person or business;
• infringes copyright, trade marks or other rights, including by reproducing substantial parts of someone else’s work;
• harasses, threatens or promotes hatred or violence against any person or group;
• is sexually explicit, sexualises minors in any way, or exploits or harms children;
• gives medical, legal, financial or safety advice presented as authoritative without the expert review that subject needs;
• is designed to mislead readers, such as disinformation, misleading health claims or deceptive offers; or
• contains malware, or is designed for phishing or to collect personal or payment details under false pretences.

• Review before publishing. A person must review each article before it is published or scheduled. AI output can contain errors, outdated facts or claims that need evidence. Docket’s checks and the optional fact check help, but they do not confirm that content is true.
• Check facts that matter. Prices, opening times, availability, legal and regulatory statements and anything about named people or businesses must be checked against a reliable source.
• Make required disclosures. Follow any law or platform rule that requires you to disclose the use of AI, paid relationships or advertising.
• No scaled content abuse. Do not use Docket to generate large numbers of near-identical or thin pages whose main purpose is to manipulate search rankings, such as doorway pages or location pages that differ only by a place name.
• Provider rules. Docket uses third-party AI providers to generate content, so content must also comply with their usage policies.

• Add only websites that you own, or that you are authorised to manage, for example as the business’s agency.
• Connect only WordPress sites you are authorised to publish to, using an application password for an account you are entitled to use. Do not share or connect someone else’s credentials without their permission.
• Connect only Google Search Console and Google Analytics properties you are authorised to access.
• Each person needs their own Docket account. Invite colleagues to your team rather than sharing a sign-in.

Do not:

• access, or try to access, another customer’s data, or any part of the service you are not authorised to use;
• probe, scan or test the security of the service, except by reporting an issue as described on the security page;
• interfere with or overload the service, or get around its rate limits, spend limits or other restrictions;
• scrape the service, or use bots or other automated means to access it, except through features Docket provides for that purpose;
• use Docket to read or crawl websites you have no legitimate interest in, or to get around a website’s robots.txt or access controls;
• reverse engineer the service, except where the law allows it, or use it to build a competing product; or
• resell access to the service without our written agreement.

The free AI visibility preview needs no account. To keep it available for everyone:

• use it by hand, for a website you own, represent or are genuinely considering;
• do not run it from scripts, bots or automated tools, or scrape its results;
• do not try to get around its limit of five checks per hour, for example by rotating IP addresses; and
• do not use it to monitor third-party websites in bulk.

If we reasonably believe this policy has been breached, we may:

• ask you to remove or change content;
• block a feature, a connection or access to the free preview;
• suspend or close the account, as set out in the terms of service; and
• report unlawful activity to the relevant authorities.

Where it is reasonable, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. We may act immediately where there is a risk of serious harm, or where the law requires it. Content already published to your own website is under your control, and you are responsible for removing it there.

We may update this policy as the service or the law changes, and will show the new date at the top. Material changes are notified as described in the terms of service.
